Do you have a problem managing your time?

February 19th, 2007

I’ve been working hard on a “secret” project for a couple of months now, and it is almost ready to be launched.

If it is a secret, I can’t tell you, right. Well, its got something to do with the title of this blog post. I realise that most of the time, we have just too many things to do, and we have a problem accomplishing everything that we set out to do, whether its our dreams or our daily to-do list.

Maybe we just have a problem prioritizing what needs to be done first, second, third.

Here are some quotations:
“If you want to make good use of your time, you’ve got to know what’s most important and then give it all you’ve got.” — Lee Iacocca

“Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time; for that’s the stuff life is made of.” — Benjamin Franklin

“Don’t start your day untill you have it finished on paper first.” — Jim Rohn

Putting Handwritten Notes and Messages on Your Webpages

January 23rd, 2007

This makes your web pages, especially your sales pages, that much more human, and imply a sense of empathy for the reader.

You can either write the text on a piece of paper, and scan it in, or you can use a handwriting font and an imaging program to get the images.

In my testing, it is easier and much better to get a handwriting font and type it in, as the words will be clear, sharp and the background is pure white. If you are scanning it in, it can be quite hard to get your writing to be crisp and clear, and the background can be pretty greyish, and hard to adjust to white.

I just found a great resource today that makes creating these handwritten notes on your computer so easy. It can be found at vletter.com

Oh, and did I mention it is FREE to use?

Why does correct spelling seem to be so hard to find on the web?

January 14th, 2007

I just read this page, and it got me thinking as to how many webpages, blogs etc are misspelled.

http://www.yourdictionary.com/library/misspelled.html

Here’s a list of 100 most misspelled words in the English language.

Perhaps it is a product of our education system that we don’t spell well. Or is it a general lack of importance given to this part of the language.

Well, I think incorrect spelling on your sales page or corporate webpage is not professional and can hurt your message. People do think that you are not serious, if you can’t even take the time to correct the spelling on your website.

So go through your sites and correct the spelling!

Added a page for affiliates for my product, Redirect Magic

December 2nd, 2006

I had been meaning to do this for some time, and I finally made the time to do it.

There is now an affiliates page for people who would like to pormote my product, RedirectMagic.

Since it is sold through clickbank, just enter your clickbank id, press the buton, and presto, your affiliate link is created for you!. Of course I would recommend that you get my product RedirectMagic to cloak that link as well.

Lots of lessons learnt at WIS SG 2006

November 29th, 2006

It was the last day yesterday, and I was so exhausted, I came home and crashed into bed for a 10 1/2 hour sleep!

So many things that were re-inforced and more things that I heard that put the pieces together. There seems to be a chain of events/activities that have to be done together in order to ensure success in internet marketing, and I intend to follow the suggestions given closely.

Ewen and Jo Han demonstrated how they made a huge amount or money with a low priced product - $19.97 and with 2 backends - $67 and $97. At the end of approx 70 hours, they had made a cool $65K, without any JV partners, just mailing to their in-house lists, and picking up affiliates along the way.

Their teleseminar for the traffic event was held this morning, and the MP3 is already posted line. There are some unanounced bonusses available on the site as well, like an “Autopilot traffic machine” software and “Instant Content Creator” software. Cool stuff! Of course, you can still buy the traffic call, but it is no longer a live call, just a recording. Click here

Also, Richard Tan made an irresistable offer for next year’s WIS, and I took him up on it. Call me crazy, but I want to attend again next year!
